This module, created for a research group at an Australian university, uses ultrathin gold and copper nanowires as wearable sensors for real-time monitoring wrist pulses, tendon movement, skin/muscle health, etc.

The device developed monitors up 10 such sensors simultaneously, while transmitting data in real-time to mobile applications (over bluetooth low energy) for immediate review and analysis, as well as to cloud servers for archiving and aggregation.
